Devotion

But as you abound in everything - - in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all diligence, and in your love for us – see that you abound in this grace [giving] also.                        2 Corinthians 8:7 

Stewards of His Grace

 A steward is one who manages another’s property or finances.  We are who we are in Christ simply because God extended His grace to us.  And by His grace, He has made us stewards of His grace.  He has made us conduits through which His grace flows into, and through us, to others. We need to always remember the source and the purpose of our blessings.  God is the source, but He has allowed us to be the manager.   God did not give us talent or ability or finances so that we could hoard it.  He blesses us with His gifts and wants to bless us even more as we show ourselves faithful in giving.  May we always trust in the Lord and not our own resources  - - - and may we ever seek to be stewards of His grace.
