My name is Lena Mayer, and I teach one of the second grade Sunday School classes at Little Chapel. I
have been teaching at Little Chapel for about 11 years. I truly enjoy spending time with these children each year. I
focus mostly on 1) Teaching the children how to understand what God wants them to do in their everyday lives through scriptures
and bible stories, and
2) Teaching them how to Serve others by giving of themselves (materially, emotionally, and spiritually).
Each week, I teach a lesson and follow up with games or other activities. My class enjoys an annual shopping trip/Christmas
party as part of our unit on 'giving'. They shop for baby items that are donated to the Pregnancy Resource Center.
We end the Sunday School year with a swimming party at my home. I would love for your child to join us!
